| The Center for Creative Aging at Harold Washington College is based on two premises: |
| (1.) Every stage of life provides individuals with new challenges and opportunities for personal growth, health, wisdom, and service. |
| (2.) Families, communities, and society need the unique contributions of their members in every stage of life. |
| The Center offers late middle-aged Chicagoans resources to address the challenges
and enjoy the opportunities reserved for the second half of life and provides business and community
leaders, politicians and professionals with stimulating informative programs to enable them to
appreciate the positive attributes of aging and the untapped potential of older adults to contribute
to their communities.
